The 2018 JTW Reserve Port is a special milestone for us. It’s named for Josh Wolfe, who has been a part of this winery since he was eight years old. While Josh has grown up among the barrels, this vintage marks a return to our roots: it’s our first Reserve Port since 2010.
As a winery with over 35 years of history, we’re proud to be one of the few in Washington still able to use the traditional "Port" name on our labels. We saved this 100% Petite Sirah for the Reserve program because of its incredible depth. By aging it for 26 months in oak, we’ve allowed the intense dark fruit of the Zephyr Ridge Vineyard to soften into something velvety and powerful.
